Danee was born in Balneário Camboriú, an international hotspot for electronic music. Although not from a family of musicians, music has always been part of his life. When one DJ touched his soul with electronic music in a party, he knew that becoming an artist should be his path. Danee evolved from djing techniques and playing in friends’ parties to one of the most active and respectful DJs in Santa Catarina playing alongside Hernan Cattaneo, Patrice Bäumel, Magda, Marc Houle, Robert Hood, Mano Le Tough, Baikal, Dixon, Âme, Carl Craig and many others.
Danee says he was very first influenced by the radio, listening to names such as Sasha, John Digweed, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk and Plastikman. He is a very dynamic DJ using different rhythmic and melodic styles rooted in Techno and House music. With more than a decade playing in Brazil, Danee is also a producer and has been in the major clubs Warung, P12, Belvedere Beach Club, Taj, Terraza and Life Club.
Part of the DetroitBR Project, a collective of artists based on cooperation, Danee sees Santa Catarina as one of the main international destinations for electronic music. All the best DJs in the world have played here and usually they come first to Florianópolis and Balneário Camboriú, according to this DJ and producer.
